Hi, I’m Lydia Fitzhugh, the founder of ClaimWise Global

With over 30 years of hands-on experience in medical billing, insurance verification, denial management, and appeals across Medicare, commercial, and international insurance carriers, I bring a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully navigate complex claims. I’ve served in roles from reimbursement specialist to underpayment analyst, where I routinely communicated with insurance companies, resolved claim issues, and secured rightful reimbursements for patients.

Though I’m not an expat myself, I’ve followed the expat community closely and understand their unique challenges when accessing international healthcare. My goal is to use my expertise to bridge that gap—making claim processes smoother, clearer, and more successful for expats worldwide.
